A STORY OF FAMILY, PASSION AND LAND
It all began in the heart of the Petit Morin valley in 1950. Georges Jeaunaux, a village blacksmith, and his wife Paulette farmed a hectare of family vines. At the time, they delivered their harvest to the local cooperative. It was a humble way of working the land, rooted in good farming sense, that laid the foundations for a winegrowing adventure full of promise.

THE FIRST TRANSFORMATION
In 1970, their son Michel took over. Passionate about the vines, he decided to take the next step: making his own wine. With Marie-Claude Robin, whom he married in 1971, they installed a traditional 2,000kg Coquart press. In 1976, they created their own brand: Champagne Jeaunaux-Robin. It was the start of a new era: the first vintages were produced in barrels, then in enamel tanks under the family garden.
THE TIME TO BUILD
With the construction of the vaulted cellars in 1986, dug out of blocks of chalk from a nearby quarry, Michel and Marie-Claude gave their champagnes a setting to match their exacting standards: a place conducive to ageing wines ...

THE RECOVERY BY CYRIL AND CLÉMENCE
In 1999, Cyril took over the family domain after his studies. He was not alone: Clémence joined him in this adventure, marking the start of a new chapter. Together, they breathed new energy into the domain. Cyril planted grass in the vines, brought out the tillage tools that had been put away since the advent of phytosanitary products, and embarked on a real return to nature.
In 2002, they began maturing the wine in barrels: 36 old Burgundy and Champagne barrels were added to the winery. The following year, a second traditional press was installed to accommodate the growth of the domain.

THE EARTH AT THE HEART
2006 marked a major breakthrough: Cyril banned synthetic chemicals once and for all. He made way for mechanical weeding, Bordeaux mixture and biodynamic preparations. This return to the basics was also a leap into the future: Jeaunaux-Robin champagnes began to travel the world.

GOING TO A ENGAGED VITICULTURE
In 2015, the domain officially began its organic conversion. Three years later, the first certified harvest was produced.
Recognition of the in-depth work carried out over more than a decade.
THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES...
In 2022, the domain expanded. Cyril and Clémence acquired a number of new plots, one of them thanks to a shared investment. A family adventure, always guided by a passion for the vine, respect for the living and the passing on of knowledge.
